Instructions
Your ad will appear in 2 places. The short version appears on the listing pages. The full version appears on your discount view page.
- Ad Title: best to make it your business name
- Ad Category: select one from the drop down menu
- Website URL: if you don’t have a website you can use http://www.searchvictoria.org because that’s where your ad will be seen
- Name of person to contact: person who makes decisions about your ad content
- Contact Person’s Email: essential for all web transactions
- Contact Person’s Phone Number: essential for personal communication
- Ad Details: It is best to describe your discount in the first 100 characters or less because visitors only see the first 100 letters and then choose to read the rest of your ad or not. For example:
We’ll match the best price you can find and
give you $5 off any purchase over $20 when…
- Continue Button: will take your to part 2 where you can upload your 234 x 60px gif, jpg, or png graphic. If you do not have a 260 x 60 half-banner ad ready you can still place your ad and return later to edit it.
To get the most from your ad follow the instructions carefully. The short version is seen by more visitors before they choose the discount they are searching for. When your business name is shown as the title and special offer as the first 100 characters, you may attract a customer who’s looking for something else.
Upon submission you will be emailed a confirmation message. The message includes an access key so only the contact person can edit your ad.
